Olive green & nostalgia:
a redesign enriched with history.
From the Valley to the Amazon, from skyscrapers to humble highland cottages, and from mines to urban offices, there exists a product that binds all Bolivians together: the widely-known mentholated ointment called Mentisan.
The iconic "green tin" has graced the Bolivian market for an impressive 84 years. It stands as the brand that Bolivians instantly recognize, possessing an inherent knowledge of when and how to employ it, no matter where they are in the world. Grandmothers hide it in their nightstands, immigrants keep it in their backpacks, and young patriots use it when defending the forests.
Despite the pharmaceutical company's name change and technological advancements, the formula remains unchanged to this day. Available in various packaging formats and weights, the "green tin" lives in the minds and hearts of all Bolivians, becoming their infallible weapon against all ills.
Building on this legacy, a proposed redesign aims to evoke nostalgia and emotions, presenting an upgrade that pays homage to a product with a rich history. The strategic preservation of its distinctive personality ensures the enduring legacy of both the brand and the product.
